Commitments in the Classroom

     In Miss Sweet's classroom, children begin their day by making a choice.  

They choose whether they are willing to keep people and things safe in the classroom.

If they are willing to keep it safe in the classroom they move their pictures and names to the Safe Keeper Box.

There are other commitments in Miss Sweet's Classroom...

They are posted in the classroom so that Miss Sweet can refer to them often.  The commitments are stated in positive language so that children know what to do. 

Miss Sweet notices when children are demonstrating the appropriate behaviors and gives the children positive feedback for their actions.
